STUDIO DELPIANO was founded in 2001 by Carolina Delpiano, and it operates in the fields of INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE (hotels, retail spaces, residences, exhibitions and installations), ART DIRECTION AND STRATEGY CONSULTING.
Carolina Delpiano
I have had a design and content office for more than 20 years. My projects are very diverse: I work in PHOTOGRAPHY, DESIGN, INTERIOR DESIGN, HOSTING TV programs and EDITORIAL CONTENT. The common thread of my work is the appreciation and rescue of HERITAGE and national IDENTITY: its geography, its culture and its history. I worked for 15 years on different television channels (Canal 2, ARTV and Chilevisión) as an interviewer of figures from the world of CULTURE AND POLITICS. I have held around twenty photographic exhibitions in Chile and abroad. The Chilean Art Critics' Circle awarded my exhibition Aseo y Ornato, at the Marlborough gallery, as the best of the year 2006.
Work and Clients
The most important interior design and content projects have been the Tierra hotels: Atacama, Patagonia, Chiloé and the Magnolia Hotel in Santiago. I am currently developing interior design projects for the Hotel Termas de Puyehue, Hotel Explora and Hotel Las Torres, in Patagonia.The most important cultural projects have been: the construction of stores Artesanías de Chile foundation and the fitting out and interior design of the Pereira Palace, headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Art and Heritage of Chile.
